Our contract survey is used to identify and prioritize issues at our hospital. Your elected bargaining team will use the information collected to identify solutions in preparation for bargaining proposals.

Bargaining Team Nominations

Bargaining Team Members are respected SEIU members who are nominated and then elected to serve to represent all their co-workers on the union bargaining team. Members of the bargaining team should be ready to attend all bargaining sessions* and:
- Commit to doing whatever it takes to achieve a strong contract! Including; being an active member, communicating with co-workers and organizing even outside bargaining sessions; at work, before and after work.
- Build a strong Contract Action Team to involve members & communicate
- Join Contract action Team (CAT) meetings, attend membership events, votes, actions & build community & political support.
- Represent all co-workers in the bargaining unit; all shifts, departments, job classifications and people with different race, languages, genders or ability than themselves. Work as a team member.
*Bargaining Team members are typically released from work for bargaining sessions that are during their shift and paid time missed from regular shifts.

Join the Contract Action Team (CAT)

The Contract Action Team (CAT) is key to helping us bring home fair contracts. Keep your peers informed and help take action for good jobs, better wages, and quality care! Please nominate yourself, and/or any of your co-workers to be a member leader!
Contract Action Team (CAT) members will:
✅ Attend CAT meetings as often as possible & stay in touch with the bargaining team & organizer
✅ Communicate information to union members from the bargaining team; build text/phone trees for fast updates
✅ Relay important issues from the membership to the bargaining team
✅ Recruit coworkers to participate in actions- stickers, petitions, membership, rallies etc.
